Self-serving question

Can anyone be bright, intelligent, and witty-enough, to be attractive to the opposite sex – even if physically they aren’t?  If yes, how much more intelligent, smarter, and witty would they have to be?  Would they have to be more so than the neighbor next door?  Good enough to get a partial scholarship?  Worthy of a full ride?  Ivy league only?  Nothing less than a Rhodes Scholar?

Just wondering … not that I think I can improve my Mensa score (or must I confess – even rate a Mensa score) … but perhaps gaining intelligence is easier than improving physical attributes?
