What I Did on the Day after Thanksgiving

Subtitled: Not Much

This morning I put the French Toast Casserole in the oven and cooked some link sausage.

After breakfast I took a short nap.

Then I read.

Mid-morning we set out Christmas decorations.

Then we ran some errands in town … to the post office, a drug store, and the grocery store.

When we came home I took a nap.

Then I read.

We set the table and company joined us for dinner.

After dinner we sat around in the living room. They talked, I yawned.

They finally went home – and we cleaned the kitchen.

Now I’m going to bed.

(Because today was such a strenuous day, you understand)

awesome day. :)
hope the rest of the weekend is just as mellow!

(I went through my Cooking Light magazines from this past year and clipped all the recipes I want -- I'm going to put them in a binder. That was the most strenuous part of my day.)
